Local Business Thanks Cromwell for Recognition with an Open House
Liturgical Publications Inc named Cromwell’s Business of the Month for April, 2011
CROMWELL, CT — April 27, 2011 — At the March 17 meeting of the Cromwell
Economic Development Commission, Liturgical Publications Inc (LPi) was named Business of
the Month for April 2011. As a thank you to the community for this recognition, LPi will be
holding an open house from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Thursday, May 19, 2011.
Liturgical Publications Inc is a national provider of communication tools for community organizations, such as churches, synagogues, and senior centers. For example, they print the monthly newsletter for the Cromwell Senior Center and the weekly bulletin for St. John Church. Many local businesses provide financial support for the printing, as well as increase their visibility in the community, by placing advertisements on these publications.
“We look for the support of local businesses in local communities to support the churches, synagogues, and senior centers we partner with,” said Tim Potrikus, VP and General Manager of the Cromwell office, “so being recognized by our own community is quite an honor.”
LPi has 65 employees at its Cromwell office, in addition to 40 regional staff around New England, who call this location their home office. They have been in business since 1977 with an office in Cromwell since 1992.
The office is located at 5 Progress Drive in Cromwell. Employees of the location look
forward to providing refreshments as well of tours of the office and printing facilities to
community members who join
them at the open house on May 19.
